3D Animated Human Model

Created using 3D Studio Max

I created this model using 3D Studio Max 5. I first sculpted the skin out of approximately 12,000 smoothed polygons. I then created materials and accessories, manually and laboriously. Next, I used the 3DS figure mode to fit a human skeleton to the skin, complete with Inverse Kinematics. Once I assigned the vertices carefully to the skeleton, I then used Physique mode to allow the model's skin to move with the skeleton's IK.
